My stay at Hotel Elysees Flaubert was a mix of highs and lows. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to the impressive Arc de Triomphe and surrounded by charming local cafes. However, the initial room had an unpleasant drain smell, which got me off to a rocky start. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly accommodating and moved me to a much nicer room, where I truly enjoyed my stay.
